Diapers and more

Well, as you can see from the date of the last post, maybe I am too busy for this.

Last week we went to a neighbor's house to look at cloth diapers. We are going to be using cloth diapers, not from the save the world point of view but from the cost point of view. While the cost of cloth diapers is more up front, in the long run it is less expensive.

Plus, cloth diapers have come a long way since I wore them. There are still the kind that you have to fold but there are no more pins. There are things now like you find on ace bandages to hold them in place. Plus more of them are very easy to use and can simply be pulled apart and washed.

Tonight we went and registered for some stuff for the baby shower. It was kind of difficult. There is just so much stuff that it is hard to decide what to get without just registering for one of everything.

I'm sure that we will get everything we want and need regardless of what we have registered for. People are good at getting everything anyway.

Caved to "peer pressure"

Well, after making fun of a guy at work for setting this up when his twins were born, I decided that it wasn't a bad idea to try and keep some of our friends and family that we don't get to see or talk to that often updated on what's going on.

Besides, I've got plenty of time to do this right? :)

So far the baby's room is coming along just fine. We started working on it a few months before we got pregnant so it was painted and the trim put up and the closest finished (sort of) a long time ago.

The closet was finalized a few months ago and the dresser, crib and rocking chair are almost done.

There are some miscellaneous other things to work on for decorating.

Hard to believe that we are past the 6 month mark. June 18th will be here before we know it.
