Visit to Wisconsin

After the side trip to the park, we went to visit Paige's Grandma and Great-Grandma as well as some other family.

First Hike

This past weekend we took a trip up to visit family and stopped at Devil's Lake State Park. Paige got to go on her first hike. She did really well, sleeping about half the time but otherwise just hanging out.

Here we are at the beginning of the hike.

Time for a break.

Back up the bluff.

At the Devil's Doorway.

Daddy's turn at the end of the hike.

Growing Up So Fast

Paige is growing up so fast...already four months and trying to get a drink from a water bottle.

Naptime with Daddy

A few weeks ago we were at a friend's house over by Peoria and things got to be a bit too much for Paige and daddy.

4 Months!

At Paige's 4 month doctor visit we found out that she is now 24" long and 11 lb 14 oz. Still long and skinny. The doctor still isn't worried too much about her weight. We're not too concered either as we are now feeding other food so she will get pleny of calories.

Real Food!

Paige has started to eat some baby food in addition to occasional cereal that we have been giving her. She gets to eat bananas, pears, peaches, prunes and applesauce.

Videos!

If I did this right here are some videos of Paige. They are somewhat uninteresting as each time I went to tape her she stopped talking and playing with her toys (for the most part). And a little cranky. You might need to turn the sound up.

Rolling! (sort of) And a favorite new position...

Well, I think it was a fluke that Paige rolled over (back to front) about a month ago. She hasn't even come close to repeating. She did, however, roll from front to back on Tuesday night. Unfortunately neither Toni nor I saw her do it. She was just suddenly on her back. She does have a new favorite position as she has discovered her feet and that she can stick them in her mouth (with some encouragement from daddy).

Poor kitty...

Well, the cats are slowly getting better with Paige. They are still pretty skittish when she is on the floor and they keep their distance but they will sit with us when we are holding her. Monday night Hobbes was sitting with us and didn't really notice that it was Paige that was petting him. He was enjoying it up until the moment that Paige spit up on him. Unfortunately there are no pictures of it. It wasn't much and he didn't really notice it but he did get up and not sit with us for the rest of the night. Not too long and she'll be chasing the cats all over the house.

Jackets are cute...

Now that it is getting colder Paige gets to wear jackets and other outfits to keep her warm.

Sometimes she has a hard time moving in them.

Family Visit

Paige got to hang out with her cousins, Billy and Emily, and her Aunt Jennie last Saturday. Paige had a lot of fun.

Better things to do

Paige and mommy found better things to do when daddy is watching football.

Sleepover!

Last night Paige got to spend the night at her Nana and Opa's house while we went and celebrated Paige's Aunt Ashley's 21st birthday.

It was a little hard to let her go but she had fun over there.
