Blankets and Quilts and More! Oh My!

Lots of people have loved to make blankets and quilts for Paige!

1 Month!

Last week Paige turned one month old!

Each month we will be taking a picture with the sheep to see how big she has gotten.

The other picture was taken when she was only a few days old.

More Cousins!

Last Saturday Paige got to meet her other two cousins and got to hang out with all her cousins!

A friend to play with (when she's a bit older)

Toni's friend Mandy (who took the pictures for the birth announcement and a lot of the pictures posted on Photobucket) came over with her daughter Maddie who is about 16 months old to visit again. Paige will have a nice friend to play with when she is a little older.

Right now Maddie thinks that Paige is one of her dolls and wants to pick her up. It's funny to watch her go over to her - it's almost like attack of the 50 ft baby!

Visit to another farm

Last Sunday we went to a family cookout at the farm of one of Toni's aunts to see more family including an aunt, uncle and cousins from Utah.

They were so excited to see Paige that they kept calling to see when we were getting there and then couldn't wait for us to get into the house.

Suprise Visit!

This weekend has been a great weekend of firsts. Paige celebrated her first 4th of July (by sleeping), got to meet her grandparents from Texas, got to go to the zoo, AND got to meet two of her cousins!

Her cousins Katie and Sarah happened to be visiting Nana and Opa (Dan's parents - German terms) and came over for a visit to see 'baby Paige'. They were very excited to see her!

The Zoo!

After meeting her grandparents for breakfast on Friday at Cracker Barrel, Paige got to go to the zoo for the first time!

Although she was a little young for the zoo and slept the whole time, everyone else had a good time. I'm sure we will go back to the zoo many more times. Dad had an especially good time taking pictures of some of the animals, including the Cotton-top Tamarin that got really close to the glass and posed for pictures.

The butterfly room was pretty cool as well.

A visit from Texas

On Thursday Toni's parents from Texas came up for a quick visit to see Paige. It was a very nice visit and Paige stayed awake almost the entire time that they were here on Thursday.

2 Week Doctor Visit

Paige had her two week doctor visit yesterday. She is still 20" long but is now 7 lb, 12 oz. She has gained 11 oz since the last doctor visit and is about 5 oz over her birth weight.

So she is eating and growing just fine. Next doctor visit is at the end of August.
